My love of travel began at 20, when I set off on a three-month adventure driving an untrustworthy Combi van around Europe with a couple of friends. Not long after, I joined a major youth travel company, and I’ve been involved in the travel world on and off ever since.
Over the years, I’ve led tours across most continents and also enjoy combining my love of sport with travel. I’ve taken sports groups to Australia and India, and while I’ll happily watch just about any game, cricket is a firm favourite. Most recently, I travelled through South America following the All Blacks, a great trip for a devoted sports fan.
When I’m not travelling, I enjoy watercolour painting, writing (I’ve published both novels and shorter works), and a good chat over a glass of chardonnay.
