MON 11 OCT - AUCKLAND /BRISBANE

Depart Auckland on Air New Zealand at 9.20am, and arrive in Brisbane at 10.00am. Transfer to hotel, and settle into your accommodation. This afternoon is free to relax. This evening we will enjoy a welcome dinner together at the hotel. Stay Royal on the Park Hotel, 2 nights.  Included: D

TUE 12 OCT - BRISBANE SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast, discover the highlights of Queensland's vibrant capital on a guided sightseeing tour. Take in many of Brisbane's iconic landmarks before heading to Mt. Coot-tha Lookout for panoramic views across the city and surrounding ranges. Continue to the impressive Kangaroo Point Cliffs, where there will be time to capture some memorable photos of the Brisbane skyline. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure – perhaps explore the South Bank precinct, browse the city's shops, or simply relax before dinner at the hotel. Included: B, D

WED 13 OCT - BRISBANE/DARWIN

Depart Brisbane this morning and fly to Darwin. Transfer to hotel, where the rest of the day is free to explore or relax. Dinner this evening will be at our hotel. Stay DoubleTree by Hilton, 3 nights. Included: B, D

THURS 14 OCT - LITCHFIELD NATIONAL PARK TOUR

Today, discover the natural beauty of Litchfield National Park, one of the Northern Territory's most spectacular wilderness areas. Travel through stunning landscapes to admire the picturesque Florence Falls, Tolmer Falls and Wangi Falls, each offering its own unique beauty. See the park's remarkable magnetic termite mounds, visit the township of Batchelor, the gateway to Litchfield, and enjoy an included lunch. A day of breathtaking scenery, cascading waterfalls and fascinating natural wonders awaits before returning to Darwin for dinner. Included: B, L, D

FRI 15 OCT - DARWIN SIGHTSEEING

Discover the tropical city of Darwin on a guided sightseeing tour, learning about its colourful history while visiting many of its best-known landmarks. Stroll through the beautiful George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens and explore the fascinating Darwin Aviation Museum, home to an impressive collection of historic aircraft. Enjoy some free time this afternoon before a memorable evening aboard the Charles Darwin Dinner Cruise, where you'll savour dinner while cruising Darwin Harbour as the sun sets over the water. SAT 16 OCT - DARWIN/ADELAIDE

THE GHAN 4 DAY RAIL EXPEDITION

This morning transfer to Darwin Railway Station to join the legendary ‘Ghan’ 4 Day Rail Expedition to Adelaide. Depart Darwin at 9.00am and enjoy 3,000 kilometres of rail travel through spectacular outback landscapes via Katherine, Alice Springs and Coober Pedy. Enjoy ‘Gold Service’ sleeper accommodation on board with all meals and the luxury facilities of The Ghan. Included: B, L, D

KATHERINE

Arrive Katherine at 2.00pm. Enjoy an 'off train' excursion - a leisurely cruise on the Katherine River. Alternatively gain an insight into the culture and ways of traditional owners of Nitmiluk, with an exclusive cultural experience. (Or choose to upgrade your excursion with a scenic flight over Kakadu & Nitmiluk National Parks. Depart Katherine at 6.45pm.

SUN 17 OCT - ALICE SPRINGS  

Arrive Alice Springs at 10.00am. Enjoy an ‘off train’ excursion to visit local landmarks, get up close and personal with Australia’s flora and fauna, or venture further into the spectacular MacDonnell Ranges. Choose to upgrade to a helicopter ride over the beautiful MacDonnell Ranges or a scenic flight over Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Finish your evening under a canopy of stars at the Outback Bush Barbeque. Depart Alice Springs at 9.45pm. Included: B, L, D

MON 18 OCT  – COOBER PEDY

Arrive Coober Pedy at 9.00am. Coober Pedy is the sun-scorched opal mining capital of the world where more than half the residents live underground. Explore the colourful characters and mining history. Lunch in a unique underground location and witness the stunning Outback moonscape that is the Breakaways. Depart Coober Pedy at 7.40pm. TUE 19 OCT – ARRIVE ADELAIDE                                  

Arrive Adelaide at 11.50am. Enjoy morning tea on board before disembarkation then transfer to our  hotel. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure, before meeting for dinner this evening at the hotel. Stay Pullman Adelaide, 3  nights. Included: B, D

WED 20 OCT – ADELAIDE SIGHTSEEING

Discover the charm of South Australia’s elegant capital on a half-day sightseeing tour of Adelaide. See many of the city's highlights, including its beautiful parklands and city squares, the iconic Adelaide Oval, the River Torrens, Colonel Light’s Lookout and enjoy sweeping views from the summit of Mt Lofty. The afternoon is yours to explore at your own pace – browse the boutiques, visit a museum or simply relax at a café. This evening is freedom dining, perhaps you may wish to catch the historic tram to the seaside suburb of Glenelg and enjoy classic fish and chips by the beach. Included: B

THU 21 OCT - BAROSSA VALLEY & HAHNDORF

Today combines two of South Australia’s most loved destinations. Travel to the world-renowned Barossa Valley, famous for its picturesque vineyards and exceptional wines, stopping at Menglers Hill Lookout for panoramic views across the valley. Enjoy a wine tasting and delicious lunch at the historic Seppeltsfield Winery before continuing to the charming German village of Hahndorf. Wander its tree-lined streets, browse the boutique shops, galleries and specialty stores, or simply soak up the unique heritage atmosphere. Return to Adelaide for a farewell dinner with your fellow travellers, celebrating the wonderful memories made throughout your holiday. Included: B, L, D

FRI 22 OCT – ADELAIDE/ AUCKLAND

It’s time to farewell Australia today. Transfer to Adelaide Airport to join your Air New Zealand flight direct to Auckland, departing at 11.55am. Arrive in Auckland at 6.40pm. Included: B
