MON 15 MAR - MELBOURNE - HISTORIC GARDENS
Today we discover two of Melbourne's most treasured green spaces. Begin with a guided Heritage Tour through the beautiful Fitzroy Gardens, home to magnificent avenues of mature trees, ornamental lakes, historic buildings and Captain Cook's Cottage. We then visit the Royal Botanic Gardens, where you'll have time for lunch (own expense) before enjoying a fascinating guided tour aboard an open-air minibus. Sit back and admire the stunning living collections, sweeping lawns and beautiful landscapes while learning about one of the world's leading botanic gardens. Included: B, D
TUE 16 MAR - MELBOURNE - INTERNATIONAL FLOWER & GARDEN SHOW
Today's highlight is a full day at the spectacular Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show, held within the magnificent Royal Exhibition Building and the surrounding Carlton Gardens. Marvel at the breathtaking Great Hall of Flowers, where thousands of blooms create extraordinary floral displays. Wander through the inspiring show gardens, discover the latest gardening ideas and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Australia's premier flower and garden event. WED 17 MAR - MELBOURNE - MORNINGTON PENINSULA
Travel to the beautiful Mornington Peninsula for a wonderful day combining gardens, history, fine food and art. Enjoy a guided morning tea tour of the elegant Beleura House and Gardens, one of Victoria's finest heritage estates. Continue to the acclaimed Pt. Leo Estate, where a leisurely winery lunch is followed by time to explore the impressive Sculpture Park, featuring striking works set amongst sweeping vineyard and coastal landscapes. Later we visit the beautiful Cruden Farm, the former home of Dame Elisabeth Murdoch. Discover its enchanting collection of gardens, each with its own unique character and seasonal beauty. THURS 18 MAR - MELBOURNE FREE DAY
Today is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Explore Melbourne's famous laneways, browse the boutiques, visit one of the city's excellent museums, perhaps return to the flower show, or simply relax with a coffee at one of its many cafés. This evening we gather for a special farewell dinner, celebrating a wonderful week of gardens, friendship and unforgettable experiences. Included: B, D
