Board the iconic Northern Explorer for one of New Zealand's greatest rail journeys. Travel 681km through rolling farmland, volcanic plateaus, native bush, and dramatic river gorges before arriving in Wellington for a three-night stay. Enjoy a welcome dinner this evening.

Discover New Zealand's national museum, Te Papa, on a guided visit including the acclaimed Gallipoli: The Scale of Our War exhibition, created with Wētā Workshop. The afternoon is free to explore Wellington's waterfront, shops, cafés, or Parliament precinct before dinner at the popular Ombra Restaurant.
