Pam Tothill is a friendly and well-travelled Tour Leader with Travelwise Holidays, whose teaching background and lifelong wanderlust bring warmth and insight to every group. Her positive energy and attention to detail help make each journey comfortable and enriching.

Born and raised in Christchurch, Pam trained as a teacher before moving to Russell in the Bay of Islands and later Whangārei, where she and her husband ran a successful retail and import business for 27 years. Now semi-retired, they pursue their passion for travel, with journeys through China, Bali, Thailand, the Greek Islands, Italy, France, Spain, the UK, Melbourne, Cairns, Port Douglas, and the Pacific — including a three-month campervan trip through Europe. Pam has also escorted Travelwise groups to the Arabian Sea and Suez Canal, and the Australian Red Centre.

Guests love her approachable nature and the way she helps everyone feel part of the group. Her teaching style makes tours informative without ever feeling rushed.
