This morning we visit the internationally acclaimed Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre, home to one of New Zealand's most impressive collections of First and Second World War aircraft and memorabilia. TUE 20 JUL - KAIKOURA/ HANMER SPRINGS
This morning experience one of New Zealand's most memorable wildlife encounters with a whale-watching cruise off the Kaikōura coast. Following this unforgettable experience, travel inland to the alpine village of Hanmer Springs where you'll enjoy two relaxing nights at the Edit Hanmer Springs Hotel. Today is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Unwind in the famous Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools, browse the villages boutique shops and galleries, or simply enjoy the relaxed alpine atmosphere. This evening we gather for dinner at the popular Tease Bar & Eatery. Included: B, D
THURS 22 JUL - HANMER SPRING/CHRISTCHURCH/AUCKLAND
After breakfast, farewell the alpine village of Hanmer Springs as we journey south through the picturesque Canterbury countryside towards Christchurch. Enjoy ever-changing views of rolling farmland, braided rivers and, on a clear winter's day, the snow-capped Southern Alps providing a spectacular backdrop. We'll pause along the way for a relaxing morning tea before continuing to Christchurch Airport for our flight home.
