Head to the rugged black sands of Muriwai Beach. It is one of NZ’s three mainland nesting sites, with over 1,000 pairs of gannets. It's very entertaining to watch the comings and goings! Then back to Auckland’s Heritage Wine Region, Kumeu. Soljans Winery has award-winning wines with a story branching over two continents and five generations. Savour a hearty lunch & wine tasting. FRI 20 FEB – SUGAR FACTORY TOUR & LUNCH, ROYAL TATTOO
Be educated and inspired with a fully immersive tour through the Chelsea Sugar factory, where you'll learn how sugar is made, taste delicious syrups and see the wondrous sugar mountain. Enjoy an casual lunch at the fab cafe. A free afternoon and tonight witness the iconic Tattoo’s 75th anniversary show from B Reserve seats. Transport - a short stroll to Britomart Station and a train ride together to Kingsland. We then walk 5-10 minutes down to Eden Park. After the show, return by train with your Tour Leader.
