THURS 18 FEB - Auckland/NAPIER
Our journey begins as we depart Auckland and head south through ever-changing scenery, making our way towards Taupō where we’ll pause for lunch (own expense). From here, we continue on to Hawke’s Bay, arriving in Napier mid afternoon. Settle in and enjoy some time to relax before dinner this evening at our hotel. Stay: Scenic Te Pania 4 nights. Included: D
FRI 19 FEB - NAPIER
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before we depart at 9.00am to explore the heart of the region, travelling by coach with a knowledgeable local guide. This morning’s touring offers a wonderful insight into the area’s heritage, with visits to a selection of notable homes and properties, each with its own story and character. Morning tea will be enjoyed along the way.
The afternoon is then yours to enjoy at leisure before we head out this evening to the iconic Mission Estate. Set in beautiful surroundings, this special experience includes a relaxed two course dinner, a real highlight of the tour.

SAT 20 FEB - NAPIER
Today we discover Napier’s fascinating past with an Art Deco guided tour, offering a wonderful introduction to the city’s unique architectural style and the story behind its remarkable rebuild. Accompanied by a local guide, you’ll gain insight into the heritage that makes Napier so distinctive.
The afternoon is at leisure to explore further or simply soak up the festival atmosphere, before returning to the hotel for dinner this evening. Included: B, D
SUN 21 FEB - NAPIER
A relaxed start to the day gives you time to enjoy Napier at your own pace. You may wish to browse the local boutiques, take in the fun of the Soap Box Derby, or explore the many Art Deco events happening throughout the city.
This afternoon, step into the spirit of the 1930s as you enjoy a shared light lunch in style at the Great Gatsby Picnic — a highlight of the festival, filled with music, fashion, and a wonderful sense of occasion. We return to the hotel for dinner this evening. Included: B, L, D
MON 22 FEB - NAPIER/AUCKLAND
This morning we farewell Hawke’s Bay and begin our journey home. Travelling north, we stop to admire the impressive Huka Falls in Taupo, before continuing on to visit a Glass Blowing Studio for a behind-the-scenes look at this intricate craft. We finish with lunch at the Lava Glass Café, a relaxed and fitting end to our time away, before continuing back to Auckland. Included: B, L
