DAY 1 - CHRISTCHURCH/CHATHAM ISLANDS D
Fly Air Chathams, depart 1.00pm, arrive 3.45pm. Transfer to hotel. Stay Hotel Chatham (7 nights).
DAY 2 - THE WILD WEST B,L,D
Sightseeing tour includes Waitangi West Cattle Station, stunning white beaches, the stone cottage on the slopes of Maunganui, Cape Young and spectacular rock formations.
DAY 3 - OWENGA FISHING VILLAGE B,L,D
Visit Kopinga Moriori Marae, enjoy a local fish factory tour and see the Tommy Solomon memorial statue.
DAY 4 - WAITANGI TOWN/SOUTH COAST B,L,D
Includes visits to the Chatham Island Museum, cottage gift shop and local jewellery art studio. Enjoy town walk and south coast scenic drive.
DAY 5 - KAINGAROA FISHING VILLAGE B,L,D
Visit Kaingaroa township, Murisons Farm and see the fur seal colony. Enjoy viewing nikau bush, ocean mail scenic reserves and Hapupu Moriori tree carvings.
DAY 6 - TE WHANGA LAGOON B,L,D
View the rock carvings at Nunuku’s Cave on the lagoon shore, search for shark teeth and visit Henga Scenic reserve and nursery.
DAY 7 - PORT HUTT B,L,D
Travel to Port Hutt, a beautiful deep water harbour home to another working fish factory. View the impressive Basalt Columns at Ohira Bay and enjoy a beach walk and tour of beautiful Admiral Gardens followed by a hosted dinner.
DAY 8 - CHATHAM ISLANDS/CHRISTCHURCH B
This morning after breakfast, transfer to airport. Fly Air Chathams, depart 8.30am, arrive 10.00am.
