Depart Auckland on Air New Zealand flight NZ175 at 12.35pm. Arrive Perth 4.00pm. Transfer to the Holiday Inn Perth City for a 3 night stay. Tonight we will enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel. Included: D
SAT 15 MAY – PERTH, SWAN RIVER CRUISE AND TOUR
This morning enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then we start our day of sightseeing with a 2 hour morning cruise on the Swan River, with an onboard guided wine tasting event. On arrival in the Swan Valley, enjoy a delicious shared platter lunch onboard with wine. At the completion of the cruise, meet your driver and guide to continue exploring the Swan Valley by coach. Visit 2 wineries, indulge in a cheeseboard, chocolate tasting at a chocolate company, plus shared snacks and a beer at a local brewery. Dinner this evening will be at the hotel. Included: B, L, D
SUN 16 MAY – PERTH AND FREMANTLE SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, we depart at 9.00am for a day of exploration: Drive past iconic landmarks such as Optus Stadium, Matagarup Bridge, Claisbrook Cove, Gloucester Park, WACA, Queens Gardens, Hay St (Perth Mint), St Georges Tce, Barrack St (Bell Tower) and Kings Park. Driving southwest to Fremantle, view the Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour, Round House and The Esplanade. Enjoy free time at Fremantle Market. On our way back to Perth, drive via Millionaire's Row and exclusive residential suburbs such as Peppermint Grove, Mosman Park & Dalkeith. View the Royal Perth Yacht Club, Matilda Bay amd the University of Western Australia. Arriving back at the hotel approximately 4.00pm, this evening we will enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. MON 17 MAY – PERTH, EMBARK CRUISE
After breakfast at the hotel, the morning is yours to relax before our transfer to Fremantle port to embark on our exciting Northern Explorer cruise. This afternoon is free to settle into your cabin and explore the ship. Included: B, D

WED 19 MAY - EXMOUTH, AUSTRALIA

Lying 1255km’s north of Perth is the stunning Northwest Cape, an area of strategic importance during WW11. Exmouth is home to just 2400 permanent residents, but the population swells between April and July when visitors flock to view the Whale sharks. Points of Interest: Explore Exmouth township, visit majestic Yardie Creek Gorge, snorkel Turquoise Bay or even take in a swim with Whale sharks! Included: B, L, D

FRI 21 MAY - BROOME, AUSTRALIA
Broome was founded as a base for the pearl trade, and today is most known as a leading travel destination on the Kimberley Coast. Broome boasts Cable Beach, a 20km white sand beach stretching along the azure waters of the Indian Ocean. Points of Interest: Chinatown and Pearl Luggers Museum, Cable Beach,Camel ride, Willie Creek Pearl Farm, Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park, Gantheaume Point. Included: B, L, D
SAT 22 MAY - YAMPI SOUND (SCENIC CRUISING)
Enjoy the quiet scenery as we cruise historic Yampi Sound. The Sound contains the many islands of the Buccaneer Archipelago. During WWII, several raids were launched against Japanese forces in Borneo and Java by the Royal Australian Air Force from Cockatoo Island in Yampi Sound, and today the Australian Defence Force has maintained a training facility here since the 1970's. SUN 23 MAY - KIMBERLEY COAST (SCENIC CRUISING)
Enjoy a day onboard as we cruise the Kimberley Coast which has been identified as one of the least impacted marine enviroments in the world. This is a prime spot for marine and bird life viewing, be sure to be on deck today, one of the best ways to enjoy this extensive coastal wilderness is of course from the sea! Included: B, L, D

Welcome to Darwin, the capital of the “Top End”, the vast Northern Territory. With a full day in port there is ample opportunity to explore. Points of Interest: Visit Territory Wildlife Park where birds of prey and crocodiles reside, perhaps visit Litchfield National Park, home to rainforests and beautiful waterfalls, take a city tour or a harbour cruise, or enjoy a visit to the Australian Aviation Heritage Centre. WED 26 MAY TO FRI 28 MAY - AT SEA
After a full day of exploring in Darwin, relax for the next few days onboard and enjoying all the facilities that the Grand Princess has to offer. Included: B, L, D

One of Australia’s hottest holiday destinations, it’s understandable why. The township itself is graceful, with its tree lined esplanade, and from the township, discover these Points of Interest: World famous Great Barrier Reef boasting 2900 individual reefs and 900 islands, providing an incredible day cruise and snorkelling opportunity, the Kuranda Scenic Railway to view waterfalls, travel through 15 tunnels and across 37 bridges as you journey up the Kuranda Ranges, glide over treetops on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, or visit Tjapukai Aboriginal Park for a glimpse into the indigenous peoples lives. SUN 30 MAY - WILLIS ISLAND (SCENIC CRUISING)
Measuring just 487 metres long by 149 metres wide, Willis Island is a weather monitoring station hosted by the Australian Bureau of Meteorology. While our ship will not stop here, we will slowly travel past as our knowledgeable onboard port lecturer points out sites of interest. Included: B, L, D

Australia’s 3 largest city and on the banks of the Brisbane River, enjoy a full day ashore. Points of Interest: Perhaps you may wish to enjoy an easy day at the Botanical Gardens, or venture further afield to Sirromet Winery, escape to Stradbroke Island or the Gold Coast, or visit the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. Today is your final day at sea. This is a great day to pick up those items you’ve had your eye on from the onboard boutiques, and pop them in your packing ready for our disembarkation tomorrow in Sydney. Included: B, L, D

Your cruise ends today in Sydney. Transfer to the airport. Depart Sydney on Air New Zealand flight NZ104 at 11.50am. Arrive Auckland 4.50pm. Included: B
