ITINERARY

SUN 22 DEC - AUCKLAND/CHRISTCHURCH  (D)

 Fly with Air New Zealand, depart 11.00 am, arrive Christchurch 12.25 pm. Enjoy city sightseeing orientation tour en route to hotel.  Afternoon transfer to Christchurch gondola for ride to the top of Mt. Cavendish for panoramic views. Stay Christchurch (2 nights)

MON 23 DEC - AKAROA DAY EXCURSION  (B,D)

 Enjoy scenic drive to Akaroa. Join a 2 hour Akaroa Harbour nature cruise and experience the majestic scenery and schools of hector dolphins. Visit the historic French village of Akaroa before return to Christchurch.

TUE 24 DEC - CHRISTCHURCH/MOUNT COOK/TWIZEL  (B,D)

Travel to Mt. Cook and Twizel across the Canterbury plains and past Lakes Tekapo and Pukaki.  Stop at Mt. Cook for sightseeing and continue on to Twizel. Stay Twizel (1 night).

 

WED 25 DEC - TWIZEL/OAMARU/DUNEDIN (B,L,D)

 Travel via Lakes Benmore & Aviemore, Oamaru and the Moeraki Boulders.  Enjoy light lunch at Brydone Hotel, Oamaru and special Christmas buffet dinner at Scenic Hotel, Southern Cross Dunedin. Stay Dunedin (2 nights).

THU 26 DEC - DUNEDIN SIGHTSEEING  (B,D)

Visit Larnach’s Castle, Otago Settlers Museum and Olveston House.

FRI 27 DEC - DUNEDIN/AUCKLAND  (B,D)

Dunedin sightseeing including Dunedin Botanic Garden. Transfer to airport, depart with Air New Zealand at 2.50 pm, arrive 4.35 pm.
