ITINERARY
THU 18 JUN - AUCKLAND/RAROTONGA (D)
Transfer to Auckland Airport. Fly Air New Zealand, depart Auckland 8.45 am, cross the international dateline and arrive Rarotonga 2.35 pm (Wed 17). Transfer to the Edgewater Resort where you will stay for the next six nights. Enjoy a traditional fresh flower ei greeting, welcome cocktail, Island BBQ and Fire Dance Show.
THU 18 JUN - RAROTONGA SIGHTSEEING TOUR (B,L,D)
Enjoy half day sightseeing tour to discover the island. Enjoy a progressive dinner to different Island homes.
FRI 19 JUN - KOKA LAGOON CRUISE (B,L,D)
View the wonderful marine life in Rarotonga Lagoons through a glass bottom boat, snorkel with the fish, and then relax with a beach BBQ on an uninhabited islet. Enjoy dinner at hotel.
SAT 20 JUN - PUNANGA NUI MARKET (B,D)
Visit Rarotonga's Saturday Punanga Nui Market. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure or join in the Cultural Day activities at the resort. Enjoy Umukai feast and dance show in the evening.
SUN 21 JUN - HISTORIC CHURCH VISIT (B,D)
A moving experience as you share in a local Cook Island Christian Church service and hear a whole congregation filling their beautiful historic limestone and coral church with the soaring harmonies of their hymn singing, followed by light refreshments put on by the congregation. This evening enjoy a BBQ dinner under the stars with live entertainment.
MON 22 JUN - SIGHTSEEING TOUR (B,D)
Visit one of the local schools including light refreshments. Following Rutaki school visit, transfer to Avarua town centre for shopping or time at leisure. This evening enjoy dinner at the Tamarind House, a colonial building on the Pacific Oceans foreshore at Tupapa.
TUE 23 JUN - RAROTONGA/AUCKLAND (B)
Transfer to Rarotonga airport. Fly Air New Zealand, depart Rarotonga 3.55 pm, cross the international dateline and arrive Auckland at 6.30 pm (Wed 24). Transfer to your Auckland address or continue with your own homeward arrangements.
