ITINERARY

FRI 24 JUL - AUCKLAND/NORFOLK ISLAND (D)

Transfer to Auckland Airport. Fly Air Chathams, depart Auckland 9.00 am, arrive Norfolk Island 10.20 am. Transfer to Paradise Hotel and Resort where you will stay for the next seven nights. Enjoy 'Night as a Convict' dinner in the evening.

SAT 25 JUL - SIGHTSEEING TOUR (B,D)

This morning, go back in history with a visit to the convict ruins of the famous penal settlement. Hear about the settlers who followed from Pitcairn Island and learn interesting facts about Norfolk Island today - the government, immigration laws and lifestyle. The  afternoon is at leisure. Enjoy dinner at the Hilli Restaurant.

SUN 26 JUL - CONVICT SETTLEMENT TOUR (B, L)

Enjoy the morning at leisure and light lunch at Paradise Hotel & Resort. Early afternoon travel back in time with a trip through the Historic Georgian settlement of Kingston. Visit the convict and colonial cemetery, old homes, the convict gaol ruins, All Saints Church and the restored Military Barracks - now the Legislative Assembly. Tour includes afternoon tea. Enjoy 'freedom dining' this evening.

MON 27 JUL - PITCAIRN SETTLERS VILLAGE TOUR (B,D)

This morning transfer to the Pitcairn Settlers Village and experience the history and culture of the Pitcairn Settlers. View the magnificent homestead gardens, including many of the traditional crops. Ride in Norfolk's first tour coach, a model A Ford. View a film, visit a blacksmith's forge, the original homestead, a WWII Army hut and Museum of Memorabilia. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure. Enjoy dinner, live entertainment and Island dancers this evening at Paradise Hotel & Resort.

TUE 28 JUL - CHEESE TOUR & ISLAND FISH FRY (B,D)

This morning transfer to a local farm with beautiful ocean views, meet the milk cows, try the milking machine, see beehives, hear about producing the local honey and sample the range of cheeses. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure. Early evening enjoy a feast of island dishes, salads, homemade bread and fresh fried fish followed by Island desserts and tea/coffee as the sun sets over Norfolk's western coastline at Puppies Point.

WED 29 JUL - ISLAND CULTURE TOUR (B,D)

Enjoy the morning at leisure. Early afternoon transfer for Island Culture Tour. Learn about the arts of wood craft, weaving, cooking & the Norfolk language. Includes a woodturning demonstration, visit to an Island home, weaving demonstration, presentation and afternoon tea. Enjoy dinner and live entertainment this evening at Paradise Hotel & Resort.

THU 30 JUL - COLLEEN MCCULLOUGH HOME TOUR & 'MID-WINTER' CHRISTMAS DINNER (B,D)

This morning transfer to the home of world renowned author Colleen McCullough for an escorted tour of this magnificent home viewing priceless collections from around the world. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure. This evening enjoy a traditional 'Mid-Winter' Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings, fun trivia and carols at Paradise Hotel & Resort.

FRI 31 JUL - NORFOLK/AUCKLAND (B)

Transfer to Norfolk Airport. Fly Air Chathams, depart 11.20 am, arrive Auckland 2.40 pm. Transfer to your Auckland address or continue with your own homeward arrangements.
