ITINERARY

FRI 27 MAR - AUCKLAND/DUBAI

Early evening you will be picked up from your Auckland address and transferred to the Airport for your Emirates Airlines flight direct to Dubai, departing at 9.15 pm. 

SAT 28 MAR -  ARRIVE DUBAI (B)

Arrive Dubai at 5.25 am and transfer to the Four Points by Sheraton Downtown for an early check in and where you will stay for the next four nights.  The remainder of the day is at leisure.

SUN 29 MAR - DUBAI SIGHTSEEING (B,HT)

This morning is at leisure for sightseeing or shopping. This afternoon enjoy a water taxi tour to view the modern metropolis with it’s splendid architecture and afternoon ‘High Tea’ at the impressive Madinat Al Qasr Hotel, followed by traditional shopping at Souk Madinat. 

MON 30 MAR - DUBAI SIGHTSEEING (B,D)

This morning enjoy a city orientation tour with entrance to Dubai Museum and visit to the World’s tallest tower Burj Khalifa and observation deck for spectacular 360 degree views. Visit Bastakia area and Spice & Gold Souk. Late afternoon enjoy a special ‘Desert Safari’ excursion including BBQ dinner and belly dancer.

TUE 31 MAR - ABU DHABI EXCURSION (B)

Enjoy a day excursion to Abu Dhabi. Sightseeing includes visits to Heritage Village, Louvre, Marina Mall and Shiek Zayed Mosque.

WED 01 APR – DUBAI (EMBARK CRUISE) (B,L,D)

Today is at leisure until early afternoon transfer to Celebrity ‘Constellation’ for embarkation for your ‘Arabian Sea & Suez Canal’ cruise adventure. Stay overnight on board the ship.

THU 02 APR - DUBAI (B,L,D)

Enjoy a day at leisure in Dubai for further sightseeing or shopping. Depart Dubai at 4.00 pm.

FRI 03 APR - MUSCAT (OMAN) (B,L,D)

Arrive Muscat at 12.00 pm. Blending the ancient and modern, Muscat is a hub of history and culture. Explore the beautiful beaches and luscious gardens and parks. Visit the famous Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, nestled between rocky hills, it offers spectacular views, or shop amongst the narrow street markets. Depart Muscat at 8.00 pm for Aqaba. 

SAT 04 - WED 08 APR - CRUISING THE ARABIAN & RED SEAS (B,L,D)

Days at sea to relax and enjoy the world class facilities and service on board Celebrity ‘Constellation’.  

THU 09 APRIL - AQABA (JORDAN) (B,L,D)

Arrive Aqaba at 10.00 am. Aqaba is Jordan’s main port and its only access to the Red Sea. Its visitors come to relax and enjoy the beauty of the sea. Depart Aqaba at 10.00 pm.

FRI 10 – SAT 11 APR - SUEZ CANAL (PASSAGE) (B,L,D)

Enjoy transiting and cruising the Suez Canal.

SUN 12 APR - CRUISING THE MEDITERRANEAN (B,L,D)

Time to relax and enjoy a full day at sea cruising the Mediterranean.

MON 13 APR - ATHENS (GREECE) (B,L,D)

Arrive at the ancient port of Piraeus at 6.00 am. Enjoy the day in Athens, the ‘birthplace of western civilization’. Visit the Acropolis site and museum, the archaeological museum, Olympic Stadium and national gardens. Depart Athens at 6.00 pm.

TUE 14 APR - KATAKOLON (GREECE) (B,L,D)

Arrive Katakolon at 10.00 am. This small port on the Ionian Coast is Gateway to Olympia, home of the original Olympic Games. Olympia has preserved both athletic and mythological monuments, many dating back to 776 BC. Depart Katakolon at 6.00 pm.

WED 15 APR - CRUISING THE MEDITERRANEAN (B,L,D)

Enjoy the last full day at sea cruising the Mediterranean.

THU 16 APR - ROME (DISEMBARK CRUISE) (B)

Early morning arrive Rome and disembark after breakfast. Enjoy a sightseeing tour from the ship en route to your hotel including visits to the Vatican Museums including the Sistine Chapel and St. Peters Basilica. Transfer to Hotel Ariston where you will stay for the next four nights. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

FRI 17 APR - ROME SIGHTSEEING (B,D)

Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour featuring visits to the Colosseum, Pantheon Church and Piazza Novona.  The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure. Tonight enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

SAT 18 APR - MONTE CASSINO EXCURSION (B,L)

This morning depart Rome and head north of Naples for an excursion to Cassino and its famous Abbey founded in 529 by St. Benedict. The monastery a top Monte Cassino has been destroyed and rebuilt several times – the last time following a massive World War II bombing raids. The Monte Cassino Monastery is home to illustrious works of art, rare books, archives and museum. Enjoy lunch before visiting the World War II cemetery. Return to Rome and your hotel early evening.

SUN 19 APR - ROME AT LEISURE (B)

Enjoy a day at leisure in Rome for further sightseeing or shopping.

MON 20 APR - ROME/ DUBAI (B)

This morning transfer to the airport to join your Emirates Airlines flight to Dubai departing at 3.25 pm.  Arrive Dubai at 11.25 pm and transfer to the Four Points by Sheraton Downtown where you will stay for the next two nights.

TUE 21 APR - DUBAI AT LEISURE (B)

Enjoy the day at leisure in Dubai for further sightseeing or shopping.

WED 22 APR - DUBAI/ AUCKLAND (B)

This morning transfer to the airport for your Emirates Airlines flight direct to Auckland, departing at 10.05 am.

THU 23 APR - ARRIVE AUCKLAND

Arrive in Auckland at 9.50 am where you will be transferred to your Auckland address or continue with your own homeward arrangements.
