WED 02 SEP - AUCKLAND/VANCOUVER

This afternoon you will be picked up from your Auckland address and transferred to the airport for your Air New Zealand flight direct to Vancouver departing at 8.15pm. Arrive in Vancouver at 2.25pm and transfer to the Rosedale on Robson Hotel where you stay overnight.

THU 03 SEP – VANCOUVER/ VICTORIA (B,D) 

This morning transfer to BC Ferry Terminal for cruise across Georgia Strait to Victoria, Vancouver Island. Enjoy a visit to the famous Butchart Gardens followed by an orientation tour of the city. Transfer to the DoubleTree by Hilton where you will stay for the next 2 nights. This evening enjoy dinner at your hotel.

FRI 04 SEP - VICTORIA AT LEISURE (B)

Enjoy a day at leisure in Victoria for optional sightseeing or shopping.

SAT 05 SEP - VICTORIA/CALGARY (B,D)

This morning transfer to the airport for your Air Canada flight to Calgary departing at 8.45am. Arrive in Calgary at 11.20am and transfer to the Delta Downtown Hotel of Calgary where you will stay overnight. Enjoy dinner tonight at the hotel.

SUN 06 SEP - CALGARY/BANFF (B,D)

This morning enjoy city tour of Calgary including the Calgary Tower, Old and New City Halls, Olympic Plaza and the Pengrowth Saddledome. Ride the elevator to the top of the Calgary Tower to the Observation Deck for spectacular views. Following the tour enjoy time for lunch (own expense) before coach transfer to Banff and the Moose Hotel & Suites where you will stay for the next 2 nights. Enjoy dinner tonight at a local restaurant.

MON 07 SEP - BANFF SIGHTSEEING (B)

This morning enjoy a Banff sightseeing tour. Discover the charming townsite of Banff with sightseeing highlights including Bow Falls, the Hoodoo Lookout, Lake Minnewanka and Surprise Corner. Enjoy a ride on the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain for breathtaking views. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure.

TUE 08 SEP - BANFF/LAKE LOUISE/JASPER (B)

Today enjoy a coach journey along one of the most spectacular highways in North America. The Ice field Parkway is highlighted by towering mountain peaks, tranquil lakes and cascading waterfalls. Spend time at stunning Lake Louise and stop at Bow and Peyto Lakes before arrival at Columbia Icefield where an experience of a lifetime awaits you! Upon arrival, shuttle to the Athabasca Glacier where you will board a unique, specially designed Ice Explorer for a guided tour on to the surface of the glacier - a true Ice Age adventure! Continue to Sunwapta and Athabasca Falls before arrival in Jasper and the Whistlers Inn where you will stay for the next 2 nights.

WED 09 SEP - JASPER SIGHTSEEING (B,D)

This morning explore the townsite of Jasper on a sightseeing tour with highlights including the Pyramid and Patricia Lakes and the beautiful Maligne Canyon with its stunning limestone walls. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure and dinner tonight in Jasper.

THU 10 SEP - JASPER/KAMLOOP (ROCKY MOUNTAINEER RAIL) (B,L)

This morning transfer to the Rocky Mountaineer Station for the scenic train journey to Kamloops. Enjoy the dramatic changes in scenery as you travel through the Continental Divide and the river valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains. Highlights include Mount Robson, Pyramid Falls, Yellowhead Pass and the journey along the North Thompson River.             

FRI 11 SEP - KAMLOOPS/VANCOUVER (ROCKY MOUNTAINEER RAIL (B,L)

This morning re-board the Rocky Mountaineer Train and follow the Thompson River via Ashcroft through Rainbow Canyon. Continue to the Fraser Canyon and through the lush farming region of Fraser Valley arriving Vancouver late afternoon. Transfer to Rosedale on Robson Hotel where you will stay for the next 2 nights.

SAT 12 SEP - VANCOUVER AT LEISURE (B,D)

Spend a day at leisure in Vancouver for optional sightseeing or shopping.This evening enjoy dinner at your hotel.

SUN 13 SEP - VANCOUVER SIGHTSEEING (B,D)

This morning enjoy a city sightseeing tour through one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Highlights include Gastown, Stanley Park, English Bay and Granville Island Market. Conclude tour at Canada Place Cruise Terminal early afternoon for embarkation.

MON 14 SEP - INSIDE PASSAGE (CRUISING) (B,L,D)

A day at sea and time to get to know your way around the ship. Marvel at the towering mountains and lush green coastal forests.This evening enjoy a private cocktail party on board ship.

TUE 15 SEP - JUNEAU (B,L,D)

Arrive at 1.00pm in Juneau, the Capital of the State of Alaska and a fascinating place to explore. Sightsee, shop in town or choose from a wide array of optional shore excursions. Relive Juneau’s Gold Rush era panning for gold in the authentic setting of Gold Creek. Depart at 10.00pm.

WED 16 SEP - SKAGWAY (B,L,D)

Arrive in Skagway at 1.00pm. Skagway has a colourful past and is home to Gold Rush era buildings, now preserved as part of the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park. Sightsee, shop in town or choose from an interesting selection of optional shore excursions. Depart at 10.00pm. 

THU 17 SEP – GLACIER BAY (B,L,D)

Arrive Glacier Bay at 7.00am. Enjoy spectacular scenery of this World Heritage Site. Admire the stunning landscape from the ship.Watch for icebergs, calving glaciers and scan the shoreline for wildlife. Depart at 4.00pm.

FRI 18 SEP - KETCHIKAN (B,L,D)

Enjoy the spectacular scenery arriving in Ketchikan at 10.00 pm.The town is built on piles out over the water and clings to the slopes of Deer Mountain. Native culture abounds the Saxman Village & Totem Bight State Park. Depart at 6.00pm.

SAT 19 SEP - INSIDE PASSAGE (CRUISING) (B,L,D)

Spend the last full day at sea to relax and fully enjoy the fabulous facilities on board Holland America ‘Noordam’.

SUN 20 SEP - ARRIVE VANCOUVER/AUCKLAND (B,L)

Arrive Vancouver. Disembark after a late breakfast and transfer over the Lions Gate Bridge to the North Shore. Continue to Grouse Mountain for a ride aboard the Gondola Skyride. Enjoy a panoramic view of Vancouver while having your lunch. Optional activities on top of Grouse Mountain include a chairlift ride to the peak, a scenic walk or perhaps a visit to the grizzly bear sanctuary. Late afternoon transfer to Vancouver Airport for your Air New Zealand flight departing 8.05pm bound for Auckland.

TUE 22 SEP - ARRIVE AUCKLAND

Cross the international dateline, arrive in Auckland at 5.00am and transfer to your Auckland address.
